4. The Main Window

4.1. Main Window Elements

The picture below shows the elements of the Main Window of iDrawlix 2k1x.

Buttons 1 through 19 represents the shortcuts to the correspondent items of Commands already discussed in the previous Chapter 3.

Labels 20 through 23, represents the coordinates of the current Mouse position accordingly with the current Model settings:

20: East coordinate (in meters);

21: North coordinate (in meters);

21: Altitude (in meters);

22: Cell Row number of the raster DEM or Land Use Map;

23: Cell Column number of the raster DEM or Land Use Map.

Label 24 represents the current scale of the spatial model view, accordingly with the current zoom level.

4.2. Main Window Tool Buttons

  1. invokes the Manholes archive window.

  2. pressing this Tool Button, the User can access to the Conduits archive window.

  3. calls the non graphic Drainage Areas archive window.

  4. pressing this Tool Button, Users can access to the current Catalogue of cross sections.

  5. invokes the CSOs (Compound Sewer Overflows) archive window.

  6. pressing this Tool Button, Users can access to the Pump Stations (Pumps) archive window.

  7. calls the Inflows archive window.

  8. show the current graphic object; The arrow: none object is selected; Knot: is selected the Manhole class; Segment: the Conduit class is selected; Polygon: is selected the Drainage Area class.

  9. while the Tool Button Draw is selected, the User is allowed to draw an object of the current class (see point 8);

  10. while the Move Tool Button is selected, Users can move the selected object; 

  11. while such a Tool Button is selected, User can select an object of the current Graphic class (see point 8);

  12. pressing this Tool Button, Users are allowed to erase the selected object;

  13. Split Tool Button. It performs its action on linear graphic objects such as Conduits and Drainage Areas edges only. Pressing this Button, Users are allowed to split in two linear graphical elements;

  14. Zoom Actual Tool Button. The Raster Spatial Model is shown in the scale 1:1;

  15. Zoom In Tool Button. The current Raster Spatial Model scale is incremented by a factor 10%;

  16. Zoom Out Tool Button. The current Raster Spatial Model scale is decremented by a factor 10%;

  17. Zoom Extents Tool Button. The whole Raster Spatial Model view is adapted to fit the Main Window;

  18. Zoom Window Tool Button. The viewport User dragged is adapted to fit the center of the Main Window.

  19. Land Use Brush Tool Button.
